Queen of Hearts Nursery Curriculum

 

The Queen of Hearts’ curriculum is provided to teachers and parents as part of a comprehensive set of targets and initiatives that make it easier to understand the expectations and learning outcomes and provide a structured program to enable teachers to create their daily lessons and routines. Parents have full access to this curriculum through their Parent Portal on this website.

 

Active learning, whether it is achieved through structured or guided activities or initiated by the children, is a central element of the Queen of Hearts curriculum.  The focus is always to cater to holistic learning using a thematic approach, incorporating all children’s ideas and interests as well as that of the parents. 

 

The learning environment is always positive and respectful and welcoming to both the children and their families.  This will ensure the children feel secure to take risks, make inquiries and develop at their own pace and become enthusiastic learners at Queen of Hearts Nursery School.
